Meet the Accordionology Team

Jack Brantley
FOUNDER
When Jack couldn’t find a shop to repair his accordion within a day’s drive, he decided to learn how to do it himself.
For years he had worked on his own guitars & various instruments. With that background, and some generous help from Bob Tedrow , Ike Milligan and George Bachich’s accordionrevival.com … he took off in a reed-diculous new direction.
Word got out! Players started finding Jack!
Then, budding accordion-fixers started showing up! Now we’re a team, and we’d be “pleased to get you squeezing”.

Stephanie Ward
SERVICE MANAGER / LEAD ACCORDION TECH
A few years ago Stephanie came in with a friend who wanted to buy an accordion…and never left!
Now as Service Manager, Stephanie oversees evaluations, estimates, and all aspects of repair and restoration.
A cellist, guitar player, singer, accordionist, and all around enthusiastic musician, she enjoys all kinds - and is especially fond of tight, haunting harmonies… and anything she can play at a Renaissance Festival.
A skilled, precise music-loving tech, who can also offer clear, helpful advice to perhaps our most common service-related question: “Is this accordion worth fixing?”

Kyle Turner
MEDIA MANAGER / RESIDENT ACCORDIONIST
Kyle is a pianist who, once he picked up an accordion… couldn’t put it back down!
“When I felt music from the reeds resonating from the the accordion into my chest, I realized how powerful and expressive it can be!”
With a Master’s Degree in music performance from BGSU, Kyle now applies his knowledge and skill to arranging favorite songs for accordion! Kyle contributes to so many aspects of our business: website design, photography, video demos, events… so glad he found us.
