Benefits of internally-mounted mics for left & right sides:

1) Clear sound - with high resistance to feedback! Multiple mic capsules are installed inside, as close as possible to each sound source.

2) Best possible sound isolation from room noise, other instruments etc.

3) Separate level controls for left and right hand sides of the accordion; easy to adjust while playing for best balance between bass and melody.

4) You can move around while playing - no need to stay close to an external mic!

MIC SYSTEMS

We offer systems from Harmonik and Musictech, our preferred makers.  The cost ranges from $295 to $999 for units with separate mics/controls for LH/bass and RH/keyboard. Installing for RH/keyboard only reduces mic-system and installation cost by about half.

INSTALLATION

We install at our $85/hr labor rate; typical cost is between $300-$550. Once we inspect an accordion in the shop, we provide a cost estimate before proceeding.  We would need to have the accordion for at least a week.
